In a survey, 46% of respondents said their supply chain was manually managed and nearly 50% out of these haven’t even planned their digitalization. One of the primary reasons for this is the gap in understanding the capability and the usability of products that bring out supply chain digitalization. To bridge this gap, we, at Elixia came up with the concept of the Elixia Webinar Series.
Every alternate Friday our Founder, Sanket Sheth will have a 30-minute session with our customers/prospects to discuss the benefits of digitalizing the supply chain processes with different products from Elixia Tech.
Elixia Webinar Series – Session 1
We successfully conducted our first session on Track & Trace and electronic Proof of Delivery on 28th August 2020. And, we were glad to have 100+ Logistics and Supply Chain professionals from across the globe, industries, and verticals, who joined us actively and gave us an opportunity to interact with them.
Tracking & tracing the shipments is undoubtedly the most fundamental and crucial function for any Shipper or LSP. A slight delay, damage, or theft of the shipments can cost a company huge financial and non-financial losses. Thus, it is important to have a comprehensive product to locate the shipments at all times.

Elixia Webinar Series – Session 2
After successfully completing our first session with 100+ registrations, our next session on of Billing & Accounting for Logistics was conducted on 11th September 2020 and it was a BIG HIT too!
Even today, 𝟖𝟎% of the logistics accounting work is done manually. And this includes tracking and recording of manual invoices, unbilled LRs, proof of delivery documents, and approvals on claims. This high reliability on manual paper-based processes increases the chances of error and risk of unaccounted money loss.

Elixia Webinar Series – Session 3
Our third session on Automated Transporter Allocation, conducted on 25th September 2020 was by far the best of all. The response we got during the event itself gave us the confidence that our product is really relevant and suitable for the logistics and supply chain professionals.
As per PwC Survey 2018, 𝐨𝐧𝐥𝐲 𝟓𝟎% 𝐨𝐟 𝐋𝐒𝐏𝐬 𝐮𝐬𝐞 𝐜𝐥𝐨𝐮𝐝-𝐛𝐚𝐬𝐞𝐝 𝐬𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐬 and that’s one of the major reasons behind the problems they face in transporter allocation. Lack of digitalization means an excess of manual work, mismanagement in unforeseen situations, and no proper track record of completed/planned transactions.

Elixia Webinar Series – Session 4
Logistics costs can be optimized only when daily operations are made more efficient & cost-effective. With this thought in mind, we conducted our last session of the series on Optimization Engine for Load, Space & Route on 9th October 2020.
As per the 2020 Third-Party Logistics Study by Infosys Consulting, 79% of shippers & 77% of 3PLs are expected to launch optimization initiatives in the coming five years. We thus identified 3 key areas with a huge potential for time & cost optimization-Route, load & vehicle space!
